This project involved producing 2D floor plans and exterior elevations from a large and complex pointcloud supplied by the client. The building is an assisted living facility, which had been stripped out ready for renovation. Due to the function of the building, the interior layout was complex and intricate in places, meaning that we had a large amount of data to work with and a complex footprint to draw, in a way that reflects both structural and stud walling continuities on both ground and first floors.
Our state-of-the-art computer hardware, equipped with the latest CAD software, made light work of the large amount of scan data received, and our expertise in working on large-scale renovation projects meant that not even the smallest details were missed off of the finished plans. From floor- to ceiling-level detail on the floor plans, to intricate brickwork and ventilation fittings on the external elevations, we ensured that no stone went unturned in producing detailed and accurate plans for this project.
Due to our flexible and accommodating approach to work, we were able to complete, check and return this project to our client quickly, ensuring that the renovation project can progress as soon as possible.
